Roca The Gap Wall Hung Clean Rim Toilet

The Roca The Gap range has been a runaway success since the day it was launched and Roca have been quick to introduce new and exciting features into this range. Originally designed by Antonio Bullo, the wall hung model has been a great success with people wanting a square form toilet that is sleek and luxurious with a coherent design that matches all other Gap pieces. Measuring a sturdy 540mm from front to back it stands 440mm off the ground when installed. A wall frame with cistern is required to complete the installation. Its greatest innovation is the Clean Rim technology that has been incorporated into its design. This forward thinking approach means no more rim where germs can breed and prosper. A full flush is achieved with only 4 litre’s of water and a miserly 2 litre’s for a small flush. Its rimless design also allows for a quick and hygienic clean to be performed in a matter of seconds.

EASY TO CLEAN

Until now, in traditional toilets water flowed through a channel before flushing inside the bowl. That channel, called rim, does no longer exist in the new Roca models. The reason for this is very simple: we wish to eliminate any obstacles that make cleaning more difficult. In this way, in the last generation of Roca toilets we avoid any angles or nooks where dirt might accumulate, allowing a more comfortable cleaning.

HOMOGENEOUS WATER DISTRIBUTION

We have developed a new water distributor for these models that, apart from flushing the water with more force than before, also distributes it in a more homogeneous way inside the bowl.

LARGER CLEAN SURFACE

And that is not all. The slight ridge we have added to the upper part of the bowl enables the water to reach much higher, cleaning the entire surface, exceeding by far the European Union standards. A design that also prevents the water from exceeding the limits of the vitreous china, thus avoiding any splashes.
